About me

I have a love for animals, plants and all things living.

I'm a loving mother, wife, and working woman in the prime years of her life. I love animals and gardening, and with  my chickens, my parrot, cat, dog,  parakeets and large vegetable garden, I seldom am bored. Before raising chickens, my husband and I grew giant pumpkins and still are reigning SC state champions  with our 1164 lbs pumpkin from 2009. In recent years my focus has shifted to the chickens although I still spend hours in the garden tending to produce and flowers.
